Finally, At Last is out now!!

Oh boy it’s been a big month.  So big, in fact, here I am with my mid month update… at nearly the end of the month.

But better late than never, reckon.

Anyway… Finally, At Last is out now and streaming!  Have you heard it yet? Have you listened 10 times yet?  How’s it going out there. What are your favorite parts?

To sum it all up, I thought you’d like to have a look at the press release I’ve been sending all over the work to get the word out about my EP and upcoming Canadian tour

New Westminster, B.C. — May 2025

This spring, Ross Christopher Fairbairn releases Finally, At Last, his debut solo EP — and this summer, he brings it to stages across the country with a 21-date, coast-to-coast-and-back tour.

Out June 20, Finally, At Last is a three-track, genre-blending snapshot of where Fairbairn’s writing has come from and where it’s headed. The EP is loud, layered, and lyrical, blending the raw energy of Green Day and Metallica with the storytelling depth and grit of Tom Waits and Fred Eaglesmith. The EP is designed to unfold cinematically, like a movie for the ears. You’ll laugh. You’ll cry. You’ll holler!

With over 12 years of experience on the road, Fairbairn is no stranger to Canadian stages including past appearances at Edge of the World Festival, JUNOFest, Woodstove Festival, and Rock Creek Fall Fair — where he opened for Fred Penner in 2013. But this is his first-time touring under his own name, bringing a stripped- down, story-forward solo show to breweries, cideries, show rooms, and festival stages across the country including a return to the Rock Creek Fall Fair on September 13.

The tour kicks off July 6 in Penticton, B.C. then winds through Alberta, Toronto, and New Brunswick before closing September 13 back in Rock Creek, B.C.

Speaking of the tour, the first gig is just around the bend. I’m gearing up to get ready for The Cannery in Penticton on July 6th.  What do you think I’m gonna play?  Pop on by to find out, if you can!

See you from the road next month!
